The Cleft

The Cleft

I’m trying to find new ways of understanding the chaos that goes on within…I’m hoping that new ways of expression might help.

Cracks appear in my periphery,

I struggle to contain within,

The possession I have in store,

Iā€™m tempted to let air in.

Pacing back and forth thoughts,

Should I be patient longer?

Maybe the inevitable I can avoid,

If I am a little stronger.

I look around Iā€™m all alone,

The one who poured has now left,

An explosion occurred in their absence,

I wonder if they knew about the cleft.
